The Receiving/Stock Associate is responsible for making a positive customer experience for customers of all ages that walk into a Legacy Toys store the next day. You do so by receiving and stocking product at the end of the day to prep the store for the following day.
Candidates with strong communication and organizational skills will stand out. You will help to identify product needs, receive new product and place it on the floor for sale the next day. A positive attitude and a self motivation will make you a strong candidate for this job. You will ensure that customers leave our store finding exactly what they are looking for and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked
- Receive new products
- Coordinate with the Sales team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- General cleaning in store and backroom
- Present for team meetings
- Make someone’s day a little brighter
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative or warehouse associate
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Completes task with enthusiasm, and positivity (both are contagious)
